Sunday 11 December 2005 - Abbots Langley      

Crisp sunny winter's day, cycling from Watford Junction Station on quiet streets to Abbots Langley.

Starting with a puncture on the bridge over the railway, but then a lovely ride through a "country park" (on the old Leavesden Hospital site).

And then we noticed the cloud on the horizon - the Buncefield Depot explosion!

We finished at a pub in Abbots Langley, where locals were playing dominoes.
