A trio of Spokes members - Diana and Brian Ivory and Mary Ann Hooper - cycled the Sustrans Devon Coast to Coast Route, about 90 miles, in three days. We didn't start at Ilfracombe on the north coast, but at Barnstaple, since we travelled by train and it has a station. We returned from Plymouth.
We said hello and good-by to Paddington Bear at Paddington Station.

This seat is on the Tarka Trail, which is traffic-free, using a dismantled railway.

Devon has some marvellous vistas.

Here's a view of Dartmoor. The sky is looking threatening.

It rained all day on our last day. This is an unfinished section of the Sustrans route, which says "go along the tramway across the common". Apart from the rain, it was a lovely trip.
