Dave took us on a tour of Metroland, using "neglected byways and quiet streets". From Bushey Station, we cycled to Moor Park, then alongside the Metropolitan Line. We turned on to a path which marks the boundary between Middlesex and Hertfordshire. This path was so neglected, we had to walk... (Dave is not going to include these if he does the ride again.)
We arrived at the height of land above Oxhey, and cycled by a golf course with good views towards Bushey Heath..
We carried on down to Pinner, through the old high street and past the church.
The ride wound through lots of allotments, parks and cemeteries, and then took us through the very pleasant Ruislip Woods.
