Aldenham Reservoir was lovely. We had coffee in the refurbished (gone up market) cafe at the Elstree Aerodrome and a chilly ride to Radlett, but unfortunately, the old Tykeswater Lane from Watling Street to Theobald Road was not frozen solid and our bikes got immobilised by the mud!
