Meet outside the Cha Cha
Cha café in Cassiobury Park for advice and support from experienced lady
cyclists. Come for a short safe ride, finishing back at the café for cakes &
chat.

Meet in the Moon Under Water pub - High Street, Watford - for a drink, Curry Club or other meal, and chat. We are normally in the non-smoking area at the rear. Contact Diana.

Meet at Watford High Street Station to cycle along the Ebury Way and up Long Lane to Heronsgate returning through Rickmansworth. 20 miles.

Meet at Bandstand near
Watford Central Library. Ride out along the beautiful Colne Valley and
countryside to the north of Watford, returning via Bricket Wood and Bedmond.
Some off-road tracks if good weather. Not too hilly. Refreshment stop. About 20
miles, medium-paced.

Meet at Watford Metropolitan Station for a wander through the woods and along tracks and roads in my favourite cycling area. Pub stop possible. 20 miles.

Meet at Watford High Street Station for about 15 miles circular route on lanes to northwest of Watford.

Meet at Watford Metropolitan Station at 07.20 for a prompt start. Short ride, as much as possible avoiding commuter traffic, so may well include a stretch of canal path.

Come to Charter Place to try out the Company of Cyclists' bikes and get information about cycling. Dr Bike, the Spokes trailer bike and various other stalls will be there.
The High Street will be closed between Market Street and King Street to all vehicles except bikes!
Meet at 10.00am at the Garston Medical Centre near Sainsbury's, Dome Roundabout, North Watford for a ride via Meriden, Bricket Wood and the Colne Valley cycle path to Watford High Street.
Meet at 11.00am at Carpenders Park Station for an easy ride along cycle paths & part of the Ebury Way to Watford High Street.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Family Ride suitable for families with children up to 10.
The ride will be off road and very easy-paced.
All the rides will take
about an hour. They will be easy-paced and suitable for inexperienced cyclists.

Meet at the bandstand next to Watford Central Library. An easy ride of about 10 miles, including a refreshment stop at the Farmers’ Market at Aldenham Country Park.

Meet at Garston Medical Centre, just off Cow Lane (located in Sainsbury's car park), for a ride via Bedmond to Apsley Marina. About 8 miles. Enjoy a drink/meal at Woody’s Vegetarian Café. Option of meeting us at the café. Cycle over curvy bridge to Apsley Station (about 10.00pm) and get the train back to Watford Junction.

Meet at Watford High Street Station for a ride to Hatfield via Radlett, Shenley, South Mimms and Welham Green, returning Alban Way, A414 cycle path, Park Street and How Wood. A few hills, about 35 miles.

Meet at Watford Metropolitan Station. A dip into well-explored country - a ride of about 23 miles takes us out through Bovingdon Green and a drop into the Chess valley via Chenies. Probably pub stop at Whelpley Hill.

Meet at the Harvester, Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green for a no hills ride along the Ebury Way & Colne Valley to the Colne Valley Park Water and Wildlife Festival at Denham Country Park. Spend 1-2 hours there before the ride back.

Meet at the Harvester, Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green for a 23 mile ride via Belsize, Flaunden and Felden returning along the canal tow-path after a pub lunch. 25 miles.

Meet at the Rickmansworth Road entrance to Cassiobury Park for a short ride around nature reserves by Watford Link Road with leisurely stop at the Wallace allotment for horticultural chit-chat. Then back to Bob & Alison's garden for eats and drinks. Provision of a bottle will ensure a warm welcome, even if you miss the bike ride.

Meet at Garston Medical Centre, just off Cow Lane (located in Sainsbury's car park), for a chance to visit some of the Camra approved pubs on the Abbey Line Rail Ale Trail, so called because they lie on the approximate route from Watford to St Albans. About 20 miles, some off-road, a few hills. Pub lunch (fresh local ingredients) and other pubs en route. Chance to collect stamps for a Free T-shirt!

Meet at the shops at Langley Way/Cassiobury Drive for a 16 mile medium paced ride to the new Blackwells Café opposite Chipperfield Common. A few short hills. Will include off-road tracks and canal towpath (alternative route if bad weather).
